Job Hunting

Jobs. Its how most of us make it through college having a little bit of money.  I know without my job I wouldn't have a house, or cloths, or even my dog.  So for me it has always been a mandatory thing.

There are plenty of job options around most college campuses.  You can work at a coffee shop, clothing store, restaurant or even work on campus.  As long as you put some effort in then you can definitely find a job somewhere.

Personally, I think the best option for a college job is being a server at a restaurant.  It is something that I have done my whole college career and still had time to study and hang out with friends all while still having PLENTY money to pay bills.

My usual day consists of about 3-5 hours of of being at work. Which is really not that much if you really think about it.  Most people who have other jobs, like working at a clothing store are there for about 6-8 hours and don't make close to as much money as I do because they only make minimum wage.  While I might only make $2.13 and my check are always $0, I usually make about $20 an hour on any given day.

The trick is, work at a nicer restaurant instead of somewhere like Applebee's (No offense).  But the reason that I do make so much money is because of the clientele that we have come in.  They are usually upper middle class or upper class citizens, who tend to tip a lot more than someone who is lower middle class.

I do know plenty of people that make it through college not being a server though.  So if its not your forte (which it really isn't everybody's) then there are plenty of other options out there for you.

Work it, work it

Relationships'

One thing that comes with college is maybe finding that perfect someone.  But that shouldn't be the one thing that you focus on while you're here.  If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it will eventually.

A lot of people come into college already having a significant other and good for them.  But the majority don't and hey its probably for your benefit.

In my personal opinion you're suppose to live up the first few yeas of college.  Have fun, be single, make new friends. You're not only suppose to be studying for your future career, but also having the best time of your life. YOU'RE FINALLY FREE!!

The first couple years was my time to find myself and not have to worry about pleasing someone else to.  I found some of the best friends I could of asked for and we had the best of times.

I didn't have a significant other till my junior year of college and that's honestly whats worked best for me.  He has been my support system and I have been his.  And we have grown with each other these past few years into the people we need to be.

Sometimes people do find the person they're suppose to be with for the rest of their lives, and most don't so don't think that you do.  Like I said before you will find that person when your time is right and their time is right.

The main point is don't change yourself just to find someone. Do you while you can and do us when its right.  Don't be that guy or girl who goes to every party trying to find "the one".  Cause believe me "the one" probably won't be their.

Do you honey boo
