The weather in Oklahoma is so unpredictable. One day its 70 degrees the next its snowing. But really that's one of the best things about living in a state like this, it keeps you on your toes.
Of course the best thing about a snow day is the NO SCHOOL aspect of it. Getting that text that says "all classes are cancelled" is really a simultaneous relief to every college student that goes there. I mean heck, a free day out of school. I don't see how anyone can be mad about that kind of news.
For some, snow is the best thing that's every happened to them. I admit the snow is pretty... for awhile. Then it gets all gross and brown and makes your car look really dirty. But again for some they just love it. For me.... I just don't like the cold. At all.
However for the few days it is here it can be fun to play in.... for a short amount of time(for me at least). You can build a Snowman, make snow angles and even go sledding if you can find a good hill.
I'm the kind of person though who likes to bundle up and watch Netflix and movies with my dog and boyfriend while drinking a glass of wine. Judge me.
You just have to be careful if you plan on driving anywhere. Take the precautions that are advised to you from the news. And make sure you have enough cloths on if you plan on going out just in case you do get stranded.
Yes there is a lot of fun that comes with snow, but it can also be very dangerous. So bundle up, have fun and make some memories while you can!
