The hardest thing going into your Freshman year of college is going to be getting down your study habits. In high school there was really no worries about tests, because they were honestly really easy. Not matter how much you claimed they were so hard, or that finals were the worst, you haven't experienced real finals until college.
You will spend a whole week pulling all nighters just to study for these test. you will drink so much Red Bull that you think you're about to have a heart attack. But hold it together people! You will make it through.
It will be hard at first. You have to really figure a teacher out and learn what they will put on the tests. The worst part about that is that you usually won't figure that out until AFTER the first test that you bomb. But its okay because you will learn form this, and the next test you will do great(hopefully).
Now that doesn't mean don't study for your first test, cause you need to! But really do whatever you can to make a good grade. That means reading every chapter you went over, studying your notes and re-doing handout that you have from class to make sure you have it all retained.
If all else fails and you are still doing bad in the class and on the test, get a tutor! I know, I know. It sounds lame. But it can be a life saver. And if that doesn't work either the best thing to do if you know that there is no way to pull your grade up, DROP THE CLASS. It looks way better on your transcript to have a W then an F, promise.
Now go get your study on!
XOXO

I agree high school is really easy at least where I went it was. When I got to college I didn't even know how to study. It took me doing not so great on my first few tests to realize how important studying is for school.
